Prince's brother-in-law says the star hadn't slept for six days before deathPrince's brother-in-law has claimed that the musician didn't sleep for nearly six and a half days before he died. The music icon passed away on Thursday (April 21) at his Paisley Park complex in Minnesota. Speaking at a gathering outside the building at the weekend, Prince's brother-in-law told fans that the musician was suffering from insomnia prior to his death while he worked on music. Maurice Phillips, who is married to Prince's sister Tyka Nelson, said: "He worked 154 hours straight. I was with him just last weekend. "He was a good brother-in-law." Prince's cause of death looks set to only be known in around a month. His body was released to his family on Friday (April 22) following a four-hour postmortem, with Prince then cremated.
