Visit the Legg Wetland Nature Trail while the weather is still cooperating, and plan a trip again in the spring, summer and fall of 2021. This trail boasts a variety of wetland types and provides a unique opportunity to learn about the benefits of wetlands and observe the flora and fauna of these unique environments. The development of this trail was led by the Coal River Group in cooperation with a variety of agency and local partnerships.

The nature trail is located in Meadowood Park, Tornado WV. The trail and boardwalk are about ¼ mile in length. Also available at the park is the Coal River Group’s headquarters, river trails, boat launch and more.
