Each camp is divided into two (2) four-week sessions with themed curriculum. Campers may register for individual weeks at one or multiple facilities, or for an entire four-week session.

Summer Camp at Audubon Zoo is open to children ages 4-13. Scholarships are available.

Before & After Care
*Before and After Care is available daily. They may be added to your registration and must be purchased in advance for the entire week or session of camp. Space is limited. Drop-in rates will be offered but availability is not guaranteed. If you have any questions, please call (504) 421-6795.
*Extended care is ONLY available for Summer Camps at the Zoo and Aquarium/Insectarium. The Nature Center will not have extended care due to shorter facility operating hours.

Summer Camp Scholarships
Children ages 4-13 who are eligible for a free or reduced lunch program can apply for an Audubon Summer Camp scholarship. A limited number are available and will be distributed by lottery after the application deadline (April 14).
Scholarship recipient registrations are held separately and are not affected by current registration availability.
Each scholarship includes:
• Registration for one (1) Zoo Camp week or Zoo Krewe session
• Daily Before & After Care for the registered camp week
• One (1) Camp Hat
• Two (2) Camp T-shirts
• One (1) Camp Water Bottle

Summer Camp Manual
Audubon Summer Camps welcome all children, and we do our very best to accommodate all interested campers. Our camps are very active with multiple activity transitions and sensory changes throughout the day. All campers are expected to follow directions and safety rules.
