Snow Spider

More: If we had to have a spider in the snow, we would definitely choose this one!

However, have you ever noticed that in winter, spiders seem to disappear

Well...truth is, spider eggs can’t survive freezing temperatures, so spiders that want their eggs to survive winter have to get creative. Many spider species mate and produce their eggs starting in early fall. As temperatures begin to drop, many spider moms begin carefully choosing the places they lay their eggs...you know like your chimney, under the deck, and all other hidden, dark, and secluded locations in your home. These sheltered areas keep the eggs warm and alive until spring...when you suddenly start to see more and more spiders spring up 😉.

So sleep soundly tonight knowing your home is keeping bb spiders warm and ready to hatch come April!
